Trouble Installing AMS LICP and AEM intake

So Friday afternoon i decided to install my AMS FMIC, UICP and LICP, i thought it was going to be pretty straight forward and it was, cept for one thing.

I installed the upper pipe and the FMIC, when i got around to installing the lower pipe i noticed the the pipe running up to the throttle body hits the bracket that holds the AEM box in place.. is there something im missing? i can post pictures if that'll clear things up a bit. Im kinda bummed out..

Thanks!

Just FYI the LICP doesnt net you any gains, so if I were you I would return it. You could always install the AEM intake without the box if you wanted too.

I think it says on AMS's website that the LICP fits only with their intake. I might be wrong, but I have mine with the AMS intake and no issues

You can't use the AEM CAI with the AMS lower intercooler iping. I have the AEM CAI and most of the AMS parts, except for the lower ICP. AMS told me that lower piece only adds .5 hp, so I would keep the rest of the parts and return that piece.

Wow!!!! AMS told you that!!! That's pretty straight up about them.

Per AMS the LICP only works with their intake.

Actually, they said .5 - 1 hp, but yes, they seem to be very straight forward about their products.

^ I'm wondering the same, will it be fine if all those parts were installed and not tune the car for sometime?

I think most people recommend tuning after intake install.
