Evo X MR, looking to do some mods.. need some help!
Hi guys I'm new to the forum but it's a great place and a wealth of knowledge is stored here. I am calling on some opinions for some basic mods for my Evo X MR.
Suspension is the most important for me, for if the car doesn't handle what's the point of extra power?? I'm looking at DMS 50mm coilovers...
Intake... i have no idea what to look for here... Help??
Exhaust.. I really want this car as quiet as possible. Low key is the name of the game, so I'm looking for suggestions here??
Chip/tune - I hear Motec is the bomb, but what's the deal?? Especially being an MR, if I tune it do I still have Normal, Sport and Super Sport modes? Or am I locked in one mode??
I would really like to hear peoples comments and suggestions...
Cheers
Dingo Joe

Suspension: I'd consider AMR Engineering coilovers. Lifetime warranty. They build them for your needs, and very good quality.
Intake: Depends what you're going to use it for. Personally I really like the JDM Ralliart Drop-in filter. It has good gains, and maintains a stock appearance. Really isn't much of a need to buy a cone filter imo. But if you are looking for a good cone filter i'd consider blitz SUS or ETS cone filter.
Exhaust: The most quiet exhaust with the best gains is the Blitz NUR spec C-Ti. It's virtually 3" all the way back and still 90db.
Chip/tune: If you're going to go with an email tune, check out mellon. No it won't effect your SST transmission at all.
Thanks for your reply migs, I realise there are plenty of threads relating to mods but thought I'd start one in case someone had some views of what works better in conjunction while keeping it as quiet as possible... Thanks for your reply again!

There are a ton of threads about this, but I'll humor you anyways.
