Good idea. You have plenty of power, now it's time to learn how to use it. You can have all the power in the world, but if you don't know how to use it, you still won't get good times. Practice, practice, practice...
also check out your local PCA and BMWCCA to see if they're doing any track days. They're usually open to non-members. Getting in on a novice group with a club is one of most cost effective ways to get into road racing. You still get a decent amount of class time and an instructor to ride along with you. You'll focus more on finding the right line and lapping safely than the more advanced stuff you can get out of a race school. But you'll want to have those skills down pat before you spend big bucks on school, anyway. I'd suggest doing a couple of these before attending a school. You'll get a lot more out of the school with a bit of experience under your belt going in.
Pretty soon you'll be posting 'what to buy next? brake kit, coilovers, sway bars, track tires?'

if u wanna get in track work.. i would say go for some coilovers....u've got plenty of power im expecting about 360 whp for you after the tune so i would say power is good.. now its all about the suspensions... i would rather go for coilovers because it will definately help with the track vs the springs...plus if you get adjustable ones that would be even better.
