The car probably weighs the same as a street car.

Here, read for yourself. Of course the car has coolers. It's racing for 24 hours.

Great video, I love they picked the pass by the Porsche through foxhole and the night footage is incredible. I drove the track for a few days in a 6 speed Mercedes 200. I can,t imagine running the 24 hrs with around 300 cars starting!

i highly doubt it weighs the same as the street version... good document, though they didn't say too much about the tranny besides a few tid bits. no mention of an oil cooler either. anyway, the car looked great, i'm glad something has been built for the durability of the transmission

There are photos on flickr and on german fan sites of the cooler system. I've seen them up behind the grille with AN lines running to them.

I mean of course I'm sure it had an upgraded one, just saying the doc didn't mention it

Only mods to engine were exhaust, cat and an ECU tune.

SST had a cooler and a TCU tune.

Most of the mods are to the car, as opposed to the engine and tranny, and are track/24hr related: brakes, suspension, wheels, tires, etc., ... two fuel tanks for total of 100L. Wow! Sounds like a pretty serious purpose built race car to me.

Full specs on car translated from German to English.
