You have a few options. You can get a (or have your) drilled/tapped oil drain bolt and install the sensor in it. You can buy an aftermarket transmission pan like SSP sells where there's a port for the sensor already tapped. Or you can put an inline adapter in your cooler line. You'd want the oil feed as that is the temperature of the oil coming out of the transmission.

 

Theres 3 drain plug on the sst and 1 port next to it?ok to tap in that port?

 

You'll want one of the 3 drain plugs. SSP recommends the one on the passenger side of the car.

It's either M16x1.5 or M18x1.5. I honestly can't recall. You can get both adapters from options auto salon.
