Im 26 goin on 27 next month and i wouldnt swap my evo x for anything...i kinda like the stares i get...especially from ppl who kno nothin about cars but just liek the look of the evo...then there r those who kno about the evo and get even more love from it...

 

28 here, glad I'm not the only one with this thought. Friends are starting to get BMWs left and right and I was thinking about buying an evo. No regrets though, they cant keep up

 

20 and i sold my evo cause i thought it was too ricey

I always get the most nasty looks from people, i dont know if their jealous of me or judging bc i have a big wing.. i say **** them, do what makes you happy

This thread is good for lulz. Who is to tell you are too old to drive a certain car??? I can see too young, just because someone isn't mature enough to handle the powah, but too old? That just makes me giggle.

 

Ironically, it's usually a relatively young person who feels a bit too (err...) mature for the car. Ridiculous, sure. Entertaining, of course.

 

I went from a Mustang 5.0 it was hmmm somewhat fast, but I like better handling, so to Lexus IS handling was great but too slow, was going to turbo it but then I decided not to, then got into a Camry, wtf was i thinking... then I was introduced to the Eve never really saw or even heard of one up until summer of 09, my friend called me from NY saying he bought one here in Michigan and was stopping by on his way back home, is was like hmmmm, has that IS look but how does it handle how does it fast is it, so I got in and went around the block, I was like holy crap!!!! Where have you been all my life? Six months later my search was over and My 03 RR Evo was sitting in the driveway, AMS 850R kit AMS 3" Turbo Back Exhaust, Greddy IC, TRE Built Tranny and Tcase and other supporting mods. I got the SE Red Stitched Interior, :-) I cheese everytime I drive it. LOL ooh ya I am 38! Now its at the body shop getting the Rally back in the Red, paint started to fade so I am tired of having to rub it out once a month it keeps fading because the I dont think Mitsu put a good clear on the car.

 

Well, look at professional drivers, some of them are in their late 40's and still race cars with loud exhausts and a gigantic wing
