Once upon a time Evo's were for experienced drivers and adults with good credit. Now every ricer/teen owns one. So in short, no. I do not think so. At all...

42 and loving my IX. No sense in worrying about what others think - once you become middle aged you stop caring :-D.

Your right around the age that your mature enough to respect the car and more importantly you can afford a EVO and the insurance silly !

The real question is, are you a true performance enthusiast?

I'm in my mid 30's and LOVE my X. I've been a Mitsu guy for a long time with many DSM's and still own a GVR4.

I like the attention, I get from all people. I've had good comments from people ages 10-60, they all like the car. And it keeps me feeling young. Sure I could buy a 335i and feel my age, but why bother, I am having WAY to much fun....

I did opt for the Magnaflow CB though...so my ears are old

I'm 26 and the only one that thinks im too old for the evo is the GF. Nobody else cares really. Friends all drive luxury cars, but they still have fun in the rocket so whatever floats your boat.

I feel better now -- I thought I might be the only one who felt that way about my Evo.

You're 26, and your GF thinks you're too old for an Evo?!?! Keep the car, ditch the witch. If she's like that when you 26, man, you're in for rough and terrible times ahead. The gals do NOT get more lenient or generous as they get older, not unless you develop the "perfect marriage" -- never say anything to each other, just co-exist.

I'm 29 with a wife and two kids, I don't think I'm too old for an Evo and no one's given me any crap about owning a "boy racer" car. I might ditch the wing though.

I 100% agree she sounds like a succubus. I dated one of those once and I kicked her to the curb real quick HAHAHAHAHA lol
