30 here, and you should see faces by my work, what i drive, everyone here almost drives a luxury car or mini-vans... to me? i care less, what people think. I will keep the evo for very long time- my goal is to turn in into weekend/road racing car, nothing special - i just wish to have money and buy something luxury for work and back and dont beat on my car all day long, but for now im stuck with my caged evo.

i'm 40 and own an X. it give's me a smile every time i drive it. last summer i was driving on the turnpike, there was this suv pacing my car. my wife notice a guy kept looking and looking at the car trying to figure out what car i was driving (my car is debadge). he passed us for a few seconds an then started pacing us again, i guess he noticed the diamond badge in front of the cars grill. he started waving his hand at us trying to get our attention. by the time i look at him he has a big grim on his face and gave ma a big thumbs up.

Dude, my dad is 45 and he drive a bad *** evo 8 as a daily driver. His car was one of the first Evo 8 to arrive in US soil. My day is young at heart and he doesn't seem to mind the car being for the younger generation. I think it's all in the mind my friend. Enjoy this bas *** car and when it's gone that's when you will miss it most.

Im only 22 but to me the X looks like it would be an adult vehicle. Not a teens car.

I'm 29 and picked the X over the IX because I thought the X looked more mature than the IX. Other than the wing this car doesn't look that juvenile if you ask me And I bought it last year when I was 28 haha. The aggressive lines and front make it look more like a touring car than a speedracer IMHO.

You can't be too old for an evo until you have grey hair and wrinkles. If u love speed, the sound of a loud exhaust and the bov going off, its just fine

Age shouldn't matter at all. I've seen people pushing 50's in an Evo. Not an evo, but there's a man in my town who has to be AT LEAST 60 and he drives a supercharged cobalt SS with the big wing, I see that as being weirder than owning an evo at an older age.

im 26 now and i think the biggest thing is make the car tasteful. if you don't wanna have a loud exhaust put a cutout on it...i've been thinkin about getting one cuz i don't like having a loud exhaust all the time. also man if it makes you happy drive it. i kinda like having a car that if you put some time and money in it you can outrun 100,000 dollar sports cars easy!!!!
