i had a GAP insurance from one of those the GAP insurance company's. They were full of SH%$t . Maywood Mitshubishi sold it for me.
SO we did go a court against them since they didnt payed, only like $1000 ....

So before we got to the court they approached us we settled the claim with them.

The NJ court house elevated our case to the higher case or what not, and it was against Maywood Mitsubishi and the GAP insurance company , About costumer fraud and several other count.

So be very care full with GAP insurance, take a good look who they are before you pay !!!!

About the car ,sorry to hear, i hope you will compensated right, and you will have a new X!

This is EXACTLY what happened. There are only a hand full of hot spots in NJ and S. Plainsfield is one of them.

-Newark
-Irving
-Plainsfield area
-East Orange
-Menlo Mall
-Paterson
-Jersey City
- and every AMC theater parking lot in northern NJ

That sucks, I wish the cops would pull over every flatbed truck they see ont he road just to verify that the car being towed isnt stolen. Or at least they would pull up a listing of all flatbed truck owners and look into them. Best of luck to OP.

This might be some BS the dealership told me, but isn't there some way they can track your stolen car by the hidden etchings in the windshield?

Regardless, sorry to hear your car was boosted. I would be shattered if my evo was taken. I had my stereo taken from my old 240sx and I wasn't right for a week.

I feel bad for your loss man but you gotta try and stay positive. In 2008 while coming back from celebrating my b-day with my girl, while at a red light some piece of scum came up from the side of my drivers side door, popped it open and put a knife to my throat. It was 4am and my doors didnt auto lock cause I just came out of a gas station and rolled slowly to the light ( you have to go 20 mph for the 05 'acura TL locks to engage.) He taunted and told us to get out, her purse 1k dollar Louis Vuitton bag, my wallet, car keys, house keys, license with my address, not to mention how much I put into that car, 3k for rims, 3k for sound system all this he was about to drive away with and I couldn't do anything. He turned his back to me to get into the drivers seat and in that split second my mind raced (should I jump on him, I looked at my girls face and she nodded don't do it) He closed the door, violently fiddled around got back out threw my keys and said, "F$#@k this S#@t keep this piece of S@#t you B#@tch *** Ni@Ga" then ran off.

HIS DUMB *** COULDN'T DRIVE STICK SHIFT! LMAO, hopefully my very true and painful story brightens your mood because the moral is that it could always be worse, he could have just cut my throat or poked me. I sold that car because of the post traumatic stress involved even foolishly rode around with weapons in the car for a short time after that. But it took me many hours of therapy to come to this conclusion that you must stay positive because people always get what they deserve and god works in mysterious ways.

While it's sad that you lost the car but has anyone mentioned the fact that YOUR WALLET was in there!?!?!

Hopefully you have already taken care of all that.
