had a similar experience about 6 years ago. stopped at a red light and this re-re on his phone in his work van didn't pay attention that we're all stopped and plowed into the rear of the car behind me, which hit me and pushed me under the hitch of the pickup infront of me. i smacked my face on the steering wheel and looked up to see my hood - thats when i'm sure you could see the steam coming outta my ears. both the front and rear of my car were smashed in and the only thing still intact were the seats (i was driving a 2000 celica at the time that was lowered).

no matter what car it is, it sucks so much to find out that your ride is gone.
