sucks bad man. all the 90s trucks and suvs are rolling steel walls, i hit a tree going 40 in a 99toyota n4runner and all that had to be replaced was the front bumper, hood, radiator and an a/c line. our evos are fragile :/

Are you buying it back? If so, LMK. I would pick this up off your hands when I get the extra cash

This could easily be fully repaired for under 5k, depending on how bad the motor is. If its shot, then 7k ish at the max.

More or less likely, a upper frame rail like that, and the support could be had for 600, a hood on here for 400-500, headlight for 300 on ebay if not less, bags 800 ISh for the fronts and sides maybe 3-400, bumper aftermarket for 300 etc etc.

Maybe 4k parts, 1500-2000 labor.
this guy has no idea wat hes talking about

i agree.. that accident will cost over 15k to fix back to new.. or at least i think so. My accident looked exactly the same my friend at the body shop told me it would cost over 66% of the worth of the car.. and it was 2 weeks old. The insurance company totaled it within 2 minutes of looking at it.

I imagine the accident moved the motor as well as the transmission.. and as a result, broke things along the way.

Just my 2 cents.. but man i hope you get things worked out!

oh damn, just reread your post, 30k! that is nice. you can buy a brand new 2010 for that thru socalmitsu. obv without the sss or aero tho. isnt that a lot more than you paid for your car originally?

In a way, it reminds me of how Japanese Zero fighters back in WWII were made of very light (therefore weak) metals, compared to American fighters.

In a way, your post reminds me how people dont think before they talk, so your telling me that since your lead bar is heavier than my titainium bar, its stronger? Lets do battle and find out!
