Evo X on The Forum Wars [merge]
I saw the other two episodes and the truth is this iFail of a show is crap
C'mon, Clarkson and the guys talk more **** than that and it'st way funner and more informative
Plus I used RP once and I was like "meh... nah, nevermind lol"
But the Idea was good... maybe soon someone will come with a good version of it, something worth watching...

"We are having trouble locking an Evo X for that show that is a fair match
for your STi.
I wanted to throw it to you and ask whether you knew of any EVO X's in your
community that you feel would make for a fair match up (similar HP at
least).
Please let me know asap."
Word for word. That's the story.

I saw the SoCal EVO thread where a few guys in RTA bash me or Jon pretty good. Honestly, it's the price you pay when you put yourself in the spotlight and don't perform to expectations.
I've pretty much explained my side of the story, I didn't drive the car that fast, it was just a friendly competition as far as we were concerned, etc. etc. If people still want to talk trash, that's ok. Can't do nothing about it.

some people take this **** way too seriously. good to see you don't the whole 'forumwars' production is a shamockery, as is royal purple oil.
I really tried to get in the show with my STI and run against an EVO, but they said they couldn't find EVOs??? Don't ask me how that happened, I honestly don't know. They couldn't find anyone to run Jon, so the organizer asked Jon if he knew anyone with an EVO.
He said he did, I showed up with my g/f's car and that's how it came about. I didn't really think too much about it, which in hindsight, I should've considered your guys feelings that you'd want someone from EVOM who's an active member to run.
I mean obviously looking back now, I could've easily made a post on EVOM and said, "Hey email this guy we need EVOs." That's a mistake on my part, I just didn't think about it.

whats with you and "butthurt", you seem to say that often. something you know about huh?

gotta have thick skin to get anywhere in the world is my motto.
That would be like me running an STI that I borrowed from a friend, crashed on the course because I understeered into a wall and claimed I was representing NASIOC even though i had only created a user account on there.
But hey... now that EvoM is being invaded by subbies.... welcome
Not entirely true, I wouldn't represent a community I wasn't part of, and I definitely wouldn't go on without being familiar with the car and suffering the embarrassment that he will have for a long time.
I'll be at Spring Mountain in the middle of May with Speedventures for S2000 Challenge. If any EVOM owners want to hang out and compare lap times, you know what I look like.
