Do the new Lancers have a color LCD in the center? Mine is only red/yelow but i saw a pic of a nice color display. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks in advance.

damm, any idea how much an upgrade is? What other features are new for 2010 evolution models?

 

If there's supposed to be an LCD in my center console, I'm definitely missing out!

 

anyone have info if you can take a 2010 and install the cluster in a 08?? i bet the only problem would be the odo reading? all the functions are the same and even the lay out is the same? might be an easy but expensive swap.

 

Someone was at one of the press events when the 2010's were out and they asked if the cluster LCD was able to be swapped and Mitsu did say it was possible. They didnt have a cost but said that the car would need to be done at a dealership and it involved reflashing the ECU. Normal shops wouldnt be allowed to do it since it has ODO info. They also didnt have a cost at the time.

 

To date nobody that we know of has pioneered this. It would be interesting to see but you will have to buy a new instrument cluster so it's not going to be a cheap mod. However the new LCD is pretty sexy.
