HOW many people dread the mitsu dealership.
My dealership is LAME! I havnt been in there to get any parts for the evo, but I do go in there for parts for my 1g. I have a 1g talon, well, the guy in parts wont look up any part in the computer for me without a vin number. I told him once, that I didnt have it with me. He said he couldnt look up any parts without the vin.
I went home and got my insurance card with my vin number. Once I gave him the vin, he realized it was a vin off of an Eagle Talon. Told me I had to go to the Chrysler dealership??? WTF! So now, anytime I go in there, I have a random 93 gsx vin that I give him, lol, what a tool.

I recently stripped one of my bleeder nipples because I bleed my brakes so much from going to the track, went to the local dealership and thought "what the hell, might as well get 2 just in case"... it was like $24 or something ridiculous
I still bought the car for what it is but wish the company had a better corporate image and better support/experience at the stealership level.

well "bad company" as in they know about there problems and dont fix them? really how hard is it to put titanium pins in a centerdifferential. so many people have those problems and its not from a ton of hard launches but rather a few. ever one knows the clutches are garbage, ive seen only 2 people whos clutch lasted over 20k miles. and if you put a heavy duty act in it, you void the warranty. my reverse went out and they blamed the clutch. i took my car to the track 2 times last year and the center differential pin broke. not a big deal to me becuase i have acces to a lift and can pull the tranny in less than 2 hours. really not that complicated after the rack and pinion is off. its the principle of the matter. also for some one who has to rely on a dealership and they just say well tahst 4.5k for a tranny cause u launched the car. even though you spent 40k we dont care.... thats a bad company and poor practices. ive owned alot of cars . vettes, g35 (which i still have) and never have an issue with there service department. i just dont get it. dont believe me call up a few dealership service departments and listen to there tone on the phone.. just pissed off. call any here in ohio anyways. i love the evo. but i wont buy another new just because of these bad expierences. and they do a poor job putting things back together. thats a fact. you dont get a warranty, so dont buy it new is what i discovered.

Most of the people at South Coast Mitsubishi are chill, but others, such as their service department, didn't know what they were talking about. According to two service technicians there, my 2004 Mitsubishi Evolution had a blown head gasket and I recently purchased the car on March 12, 2010. I drove about less than 100 miles the day I took the car back to the dealer because of my temperature gauge abnormally fluctuating after about 15 minutes of driving.
I only took the Evolution back to the dealer because of the 1-month/ 1,000 miles warranty on the pre-owned vehicle. I regret taking the car as I found out two of the service technicians at South Coast Mitsubishi (Costa Mesa, California) were a bunch of "know-it-all" (quite the opposite) A S S HOL E S, blaming me for blowing up my head gasket. According to one of the service technicians there, he had done a compression test and said that the compression down through all four cylinders 142 psi out of 150. Sounds like a healthy engine to me. Even with the temperature gauge exceeding "H," the car was fine; no signs or symptoms of a blown head gasket, such as white/blue smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe, no loss of power, no weird buildup in the motor oil, no coolant leakage, NOTHING.
Under my warranty, it only covers drive-train 50/50 (parts/labor). Sam, the service technician there, had told me my bill would be roughly $1,000. How pathetic. Even before all this nonsense about my "blown head gasket," Sam and his team at the service department had my car for about 1 week and 2 days just to replace the thermostat, ect sensor and computer (because I didn't want to go ahead and have them rip open through the head to check the head gasket). How ridiculous.
My problem was solved with an $11 replacement of a radiator cap. Keep in mind that this car has about 108,2XX miles on it. For a motor with that many miles, the previous owner took great care of the motor. However, it's a completely different story with the exterior modifications done to the car; the car was completely riced out with film tints on both the headlights and tail lights, a bullhorn emblem on the trunk, and blue map lights in the vehicle.
Thanks to my friends, I was able to overcome the terrible experience with the Evolution and the service technicians at South Coast Mistubishi of Costa Mesa, California. I've had it with their service to a loyal customer. I'm never going to get my vehicle serviced there ever again.

I dont think im the only person with acces to this site on a cell phone. Also if you cannot understand what was typed, you should be worried about your "basic" reading comprehension. I wouldnt make comments about some one else's punctuation when you have no idea what the circumstances are. Or in your case the "independent variable" if you have any idea what that is. My education level is probly well above what you achieved. I also dont go through forums commenting on other's grammer. Then again ..im on a cell phone what do i know. Now go to your microsoft word and spell check everything before your next post.. and google "independent variable" while your at it. Then come back with another ignorant comment, trying to prove to everyone how superior your grammer is on a car forum . Im a Mathematics and Computer Science Grad. Not a english major. k thx bye ? figure that one out...
Wait before you make another comment, i just realized what i want to do with my life! Im going to go to high school then a community college and get a degree in english. Then im going to go hunting for websites with bad grammer to make my self feel better about my wasted college expierence? AND CORRECT THEM ALL!!!! Make a difference you go buddy! your doing great. Its awesome when your the only person to complain isnt it? Or basic logic would tell any one with an IQ above that of a dog, at this point you should go to another post and edit their grammer.

At the risk of stating the obvious, you care. Given the copious text in the post that started this line of discourse, one can only believe that you expected it to be read.

Really do i have to draw pictures for you to understand? Your Reading comprehension is obviously on a 4th grade level. Your being very ignorant, slang is not uncommon on all social networking sites. And that includes forums as well. I will get to my photoshop to try and help you, again your the only one who cannot understand apparently.

And in response to your ignorant comment again. The Post was not started to argue about grammer. Apparently what you cannot understand every one else can. what does that tell you? ....Back to basic logic .... you should go else where because your just making yourself look like an idiot with spellcheck. Apparently you did not make the connection that the "Who cares" was referring to grammer in forums. Im sorry i could not come up with a good picture to better explain. So the above was obviously irrelevant to what was stated. Nice try though...
