I guess its the fluid for the ASC but the contatin there is on the passenger side in the trunk is low and I was wondering is there any alterative? The dealership wants me to pay 60 bucks for a gallon because that is all the sell. I explain to them that the car has 3,800 miles on it. I bought it in June of last year. It stays in the garage 99% of the time unless it nice out. The fluid should of been properly filled from the damn factory as well!

They then said they would sell it to me for their cost at 55 dollar. ****ers...

 

Is it just lower than the low fill mark? If it is, ask the dealer if it was properly filled at delivery, how could you have caused it to lose fluid.

Ask for the Area Representative's phone number if they won't give you satisfaction.

 

the reservoir in the trunk is for the acd.

it is filled with... diamond atf spIII or equivalent.....automatic transmission fluid.

the level should be checked 60 to 90 minutes after driving.

 

They ATF SP3 comes in a quart bottle for under $6. They are probably confused about what type of fluid goes in there or something. Go to mitsubishiparts.net and get some for cheap (pick up some oil filters and crush washers while you're at it). Good luck!

That dealer ship is a total dick and it close vs having to drive a hour on way to the "nice" on. Im going to call the niceone tomorrow get the re-call, ecu and awd ecu flashed, air bag senor. I'll put a 50 in his pocket to make me look pass the test pipe for future dealings with them.
