Suede dash ideas?

I'm thinking of removing my dash and installing suede to replace the boring hard plastic. I wanted to ask if anyone has done this, and if so could you post the photos?

Another question would be the airbags. This would be a serious problem if they wouldn't deploy and the suede got in the way. I understand the airbags are on the right hand side and near the middle. It just pops open if an accident were to happen. Can anyone confirm this if the suede is ok?

thanks!

Is there someone that sells a kit for the red led's to go in the dash right under the dash trim like in the pics?

look for an auto upholsterer. Theres one close to where I live, They do all kinds of custom fabrication and re-upholstery. It probably will cost a decent amount of money, but you could ask them if they could use the "cheap plastic" thats already on the car and either add the suede or utilize the dash for the suede... They'll at least be able to model the new dash off of the plastic.

Auto upholstery shop = no worries about the air bags. Just make sure they know where the battery is so they can disconnect it when they remove the dash as a precaution to the airbag deploying...
