You can go to any one of these and see improvements:

1) UICP
2) IC
3) 3 port boost solenoid (This will need (4))
4) Custom Tune.

I am thinking meth because of the crappy fuel we have over here, if i dont get a tune for meth will i still see gains?

also, for the piping upgrade, only the upper piping is necessary?

Your stock BOV will work fine for your needs at this time.
What are you getting at? What does any of this have to do with a SSQV?

You'll basically be running rich with no tune on methanol. I suppose cooling the intake air might gain some, but I think it'd mostly be a wash.

On the X, only the UICP is really useful, yeah. The LICP is more of a show piece. But, if you're doing methanol, IMHO, the cleaner way is to get a bung welded in your LICP for the nozzle.

FMIC, UICP, and E85 if available and all supporting mods. Youll absolutely love it with the fast spool of stock turbo and all the hp tq. Thats if you wanna go that route.

heres the thing, apart form crappy fuel, 89oct i guess is what we get here, because it does not even say in the pump the octane. but i am at 8500ft amd running a 93 oct cobb map with no knock. but when i get to sea level i am not going to be able to use 93 oct so i fugured, run meth with no tune (i feel thae failsafes arent enough for me) and run 93 oct at sea level.

I am slowly modding the car en enjoying each new part i put inthe car, one at a time. so wihich do you think my next mod should be to gain some more power. i am more than pleased with the handling with the new sway bars.
3 Port Boost solenoid and a custom tune would be next for me...

I am not a real big fan of a staged off the shelf tune.

Your going to need to get a tune to get the boost levels set correctly. I've heard a lot of good things about grimspeed.

+1 on grimmspeed, i have used several for STI and EVO. They work great... you will need atleast someone to do a good road tune to set WG cycles on your ROM...

If he knows what he is doing and understands tuning an evo....It should be pretty basic to him.

Too bad you dont live in California. I'd do it for you..
