Yes it was stock shifter and bushings and its not something i ever expected to have happen ive never missed a shift like that in any car ive owned and i have 25 years of pounding cars on the street and track so i definatly believe it can happen to anyone if you get a little adrenaline going. The car is in the shop now and should know a little more today but first results are looking bad compression cold was like 95 105 95 100 do any of you guys have any idea how much mivec affect there is on the motor when its cold? i dont really want to run it enough to warm it up to do a compression test when its warm if its going to cause further damage. at this point im just hopeing the bottom end is intact i would hate to rebuild the head and then find out i spun a bearing or something like that. I may just bite the bullet and do a full build now while i have it tore down.
