dropped dumbbell on key :/

long story short, i was at a new gym so i didnt haev a locker and i had my keys with me and whne i put the dumbbell on the ground, it drops right on my key..the chip inside works perfectly and i was able to still drive home. but my question is is there a way i can jst buy the actual key housing and not the chip as i know that those are pretty pricey?? thanks alot and if this is in the wrong section, mods please move it

why not use your other spare key and use your old key as a spare.

I used to work at a Mitsu dealer, its the remote/key all together right? If i remember right you can buy the case that will come with a new key, it will need to be cut but the guts and the chip can just switch over.

I would hate to guess and be wrong, every dealer can vary and if they charge ya to cut the key and what not..just swing by a dealer and the can get ya a price quote. I know a whole brand new key is pretty pricey, you will def be cheaper then that though.
