so this morning, i was going to work. the speed limit on this particular stretch of straight road goes from 70 to 50 in about 200m. i already saw speed traps set up 2 days ago, catching every tom dick and harry.

so today, same road, i was slowing down from 70 to 50. a van was beside me and blocking my view of the sidewalk where the cops were set up. they catch me doing ~55 as i was still slowing down from 50!

i was pretty upset. but i pulled into the driveway, rolled down my windows and remained calm. the cop was really cool about it and we talked for a bit, then another cop comes over and we start chatting about the evo. he apparently just put an order in for a 2010 GSR. then we moved on to talking about modding and exhausts.

the convo must've lasted like 8 min. there were other people pulled over that must've been thinking WTF? cuz we were laughing and being buddy buddy because of the evo connection. in the end, he let me go which must've pissed off the other people who were parked in the lot waiting to be written up

I left a resturaunt 1 week after buying my car. I got on it pretty good and got up to 80mph. Cops pulled me over and asked why I was driving like a bat out of hell (80 in a 40). I decided to play on current events and say that I just bought it (paper tags were still on it) and the throttle got stuck like those damn Toyota's. Cop told me I really needed to get that checked out and let me go.

 

Hahaha I wish I was that lucky. Got my 4th ticket last Saturday. Going 40mph in a 25mph zone. Funny thing was i missed maybe one sign that showed the 25mph, when I saw the next sign I slowed down, but the cop told me he had already got me. I swear the evo x is a coppers dream. When i had my **** car I would never get tickets.

Awesome man. I had blue LEDs over my plate and i got pulled over. We talked a bit and i ended up not getting a ticket. He basically told me something along the lines of your lucky i pulled you over and i like cars. The other cops wouldn't be so forgiving.

 

Nice! Just the other day I got pulled over by highway patrol for no front plate but the reason he pulled me over was because I slowed down hella fast when he turned his laser on (it was a damn good hiding spot, I usually see them all). anyways we got to chatting about evos and how his son's friend owns a lancer like mine and he was shocked when I told him my car gets to 60 in like 9.5 seconds and commented that it looked fast.

I got up the ***** to ask him if he had seen Super Troopers and he said "Oh yeah! We watch that all the time! Meow." and then we started quoting a few lines back and forth. Cool guy, ran everything super fast and i got out of there in 5 min with a warning.

 

you should ask him to run you when he gets his X lol
