good. noticing as the oil heats up, the engine idles lower and it's a little easier to engage the clutch. after a couple miles I'm idling around 700rpms.

Some friend you got there, did you help pay for his new clutch? Seriously, if you slip your clutch from 3K rpm consistently, its only a matter of time before it's new clutch time.

The Evo has so much torque you can you let out the clutch at idle and it won't stall. The trick is to learn to drive the car with as little revs and as little slipping of the clutch as possible, practice makes perfect. (Even the Queen of England can drive a stick)

Nope, I had the 3 stall rule lol. So, took me bout a couple of stalls and I got the hang of it the first week. I started at 3k then went down to 2k for my feel of the car. Remember it was my first manual tranny I started. From there on he drove 30K+ without switching out his clutch on his integra....then it got stolen Drove the 240 too to get the hang of it, the crx, and a supercharge integra gsr. None had to replace the clutch Thanks for your concern.
