27:42 in the video after driving an evo with a modded exhaust : The exhaust system has been modified a bit so the torque around 4-5k has been lost. The nature of the 4wd car is to have some power around that area but unfortunately it's been lost. I think the lancer evos and imprezas don't need to be tampered with so much.

I can tell you why they are shifting so fast...
...None of those cars is an Evo X.
Seriously though, I've driven tons of VIIIs, IXs, Xs, and even a VI. The X has the notchiest and most fussy gearbox of them all by far.

dek i'm referring to the people who mod their car without understanding the affects it has on the overall performance. in this video, it looks like someone just slapped a performance muffler on that subie, nothing else, and the consequence was a loss of power.
