Break in before Cobb ap?
Should our cars be broke in before adding a Cobb ap with cobbs stock tune? I am picking up my evo on the 20th and was going to go ahead and order an ap.
Is there a rule of thumb on this?

From my experience with cars in general I would say wait until your first oil change and then check the compression to make sure the rings have set properly, then go ahead and flash with the new tune.
IF anything goes wrong make sure there's a way to go back to original tune (unless mitsubishi can tell if the ECU has been tampered with, but i'm not 100% sure. I'm just giving advice from experience with other vehicles

I changed my oil at roughly 1000 miles, then programmed the car to Cobb stage 1. I still semi-babied the car for another 1000 miles. Car seems fine with a tad over 4000 miles on it now.
No reason to wait, installing it after a few thousand miles will make no difference. If you have it, install it the day you buy the car. A dealership in my area (Don Herring Mitsu in Irving, TX) actually sells brand new cars with the Cobb Stage 1 and 2 products (including Accessport).
