I could not find the exact oem plug on rock auto. Part# ?
I used ILKR8E6 and it pulled up something else for the ignition.

Dealer is going to charge $70 for all 4 plugs if I go that route

http://www.mitsubishiparts.net

The guys here are really helpful if you can't find what you need on the website just give them a call and they should be able to get you all set up.

Edit:

Took it one step further for you.

i had problems with Denso.
But im using HKS now and works brilliant. Probably because they are based on the NGK.... LOL

The best is the NGK dont look further in sparkplags.
As soon as my HKS expire i'll go back a one step colder NGK then OEM.

Thanks, I figure after shipping they will be still somewhat cheaper. I'll just drive about 1 mile to the closest Mitsu dealership that has them in stock and get them.

I guess they are out of stock, you can also look up NGK part #1422, same thing.

I found the plugs on Rockauto but it says the gap is .032? Aren't ours supposed to be between .020 and .022?

What is the recommended gap for high power application (approx 100 whp more than stock)?

Also any review on the Brisk Silver?

Just thought I'd add a tidbit I found while at work one day (Mitsu dealership)

2011+ Evo's have a different spark plug. I didn't look into what the difference was by part number, somebody else can - but here's a screenshot

Mitsu makes some of the most random changes sometimes

I just got my set from RockAuto... Just went and checked with a go / no go feeler set... and they are in fact .022 gap NOT .032. 032 must be a misprint.

The FSM states .020 - .023 with a max permissible of .029

Also states Never attempt to adjust the gap of an iridium plug

The leading D (only difference in the plug number) specifies the plug thread diameter as 12mm if this chart is correct:
