i've had two sets of vleds in my evo in 2 months and they kept burning out. I had them in my jeep for 6 months and they worked fine and in my m3 for like 8 months and they were fine.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2pcs-...Q5fAccessories

these are better and cheaper. I currently run them on my evo and my friend runs them on his wrx.

$5.80 Shipped ebay vs $8.23 shipped superbright

On the second link you sent you will click on the "See Prices and Buy" under the "WLED Miniature Wedge Base bulbs" category. Once you click that...the bulb you will want to purchase is "WLED-x6 LED bulb"(the last one on the list). You will want to get the color in Cool White, since that will be the pure, white light with no tint of yellow in it.

Hope this helps. By the way, you might as well order 4-6 of them because over time (3-4 months) they will burn out and start to flicker. I'm not sure if that's just because I wash my car very frequently and occasionally get water down there near the license plate lights or what..but I usually just buy them in bulk and keep them in my car for easy exchanges once my LED's start flickering.

unless I had a funny vanity plate why would I want johnny law seeing my license plate from any farther than he already can? If anything where can I get a bulb that is just barely bright enough to pass inspection?

I purchased mine from Curt@led, he used to be a Vendor. I bought the Super Ultra see me from the moon bright and kinda hate it. I wish I had purchased the less bright one but on a plus side, it helps people see me a little better when I get caught in the snow when I go to the mountains.

lol I'm not trying to get pulled over and my plates are legit so it really doesn't matter to me if they're visable from space. I used to have illeagle plates and it feels so much better that they're legal now but I've just had bad experiences with ebay and amazon purchasing these bulbs. One set I got in the mail from amazon one bulb didn't even work. They are definitely cheaper though.
