you don't have to be a professional and its always nice to learn how to work on your own car. jJust look it up in the DIY section and try it out trust me you'll feel good in the end

I built up a collection of tools by buying what I need at the time of work being done. After a few installations or maintenance an your car you won't have the excuse of not having tools. Plus it saves cash for more mods and beer.

I know exactly what you talking about man, lol. It does feel good after you done the job. The thing is that it usually take maybe a hour for a professional would take me and my friends a lot more than that LOL. This remind me a lot when we tried to change his entire break system...

are you changing to a high-flow cat also ?

the down-pipe job is easier with the cat out of the way.

since you will want to remove it , you might as well do the cat also.

Depends on which type of downpipe you are installing. The O2 knuckle replacement pipes are a PITA to install and can take a few hours, especially if they are not familiar with the vehicle.
Standard pipe replacement downpipes are easier and shouldnt take much time at all. 2 bolts (aside from the cat and catback section) and its off.

Anything over $150 seems excessive to me.
