Help with ETS Intake

I recently installed my ets intake and once in a while my idle would drop and the car would almost stall but go back up. I was told a tune wasnt needed after the install. Anyone got any suggestions? All the couplers are nice and tight. All help will be appriciated. Thank you

It happens because the fan from the radiator is coming on and blowing air across the mass air flow sensor, causing a reading that doesn't correspond with the engine properly. No big deal. Install the shield that came with it and it will help a little bit.

I'm going to be purchasing an ETS CAI pretty soon and I was wondering if the behavior will still be present in an MR?

You will only have this problem if you don't install the shield. With the shield installed it will run just fine.
