BUSCHUR crossflow is quiet but has a nice little rumble and no drone anywhere. I really like mine for a daily with two kids on board at times. NO fart can noise. You can get some backfire with high RPM shifts, but I like that.

I am ordering the cobb tbe monday, and I have the same needs/wants as you, a quiet low rumble. check out cobb and i am sure that you will go with them.
Yeah, Just checked their website out and found this pic/illustration/demonstration. Looks like based on their direct "Y" style setting, it should offer better flow than Buschur/Magnaflow's muffer which creates some turbulence... Will Cobb one offer better performance? Also, still wondering the ground clearance for Cobb since no photo offered

I had a T1R exhaust on my X and it was fantastic! Very quiet while you're cruising but when you get on it, especially in the upper RPMs, it screams.

I love my Greddy SE dual cat-back, love the subtle and quiet sound.

It actually comments in the description about how it is made for cars with low clearance. You will be fine unless you slam the car to the ground, in which case no exhaust will work well.

You might be able to get a good idea of the clearance from these You Tube videos:

I have seen and heard the Buschur crossflow exhaust and I was very impressed with the quality and sound.

I have th APEXi RS Evolution catback and love it. Its very mild a idle, and has a nice growl at wot. I am also running a test pipe. With th cat in place, it would probably be extremely quiet. Piping size is 70mm to 75mm to 120mm tips. I was between the greddy se and this catback, but opted for an extra 5mm piping, and non blue tips. I'd recommend either one.

If your looking for stealthy and better flow than stock, there is a company that modifies the stock exhaust to make it perform better. They are also really cheap but they are Axle back. I dont remember the name of the company, but i am sure someone on here does.

Yes, it is the Works. In the How-to section there is a thread that goes over the steps to modify it yourself.

+1 for Perrin. i've got the TBE and has the sweetest deep growl without being obnoxious. I would assume catback would be even quieter.
