I love this recaros .... I do wished they were leather...... like the MR.... but still the do there job ..... keeping me in the seat on a tight turn ....

I like the seats. I've never really had any of the fuzzing you are talking about. Then again, I don't really look at my seats with a magnifying glass to make sure they are perfect.

Never noticed. These seats are awesome, no slip sliding around turns. Although when I have passengers they always have a hard time exiting.

 

It could be worse. The Evo 8-9 seats will crack the side bolsters if you lean out the window at the ATM.

 

I miss the suede/leather from my IX, but the design of the X Recaros is great. I've grown to really love the seats, getting into a VIII/IX reminds me how much improved they really are. My wife thinks they're more comfortable too.

it's funny that you paid a few thousands for your performance seats and now you are unhappy becouse it fuzz?
these cars are done to take you in the corners at 1G force without any mod.
are you willing to take that force seating on leather?
also, that's why you pay a higher insurance, they are letting you drive a crazy MF rocket, capable to turn like a fly, wearing an insanely expensive shoes, asisted for one of the most advanced AWD sistem on the planet, grabing you azz in a secure an expensive seat.

you got the wrong car and you are throwing away money. get a nissan g37s, get your leather seats and save money in your insurance.

 

Someone needs to sit in an STI. Those seats suck b@lls.

These JDM STI Recaro's are a different story:

 

+1 I really like the seats, especially compared to other OEM offerings like the STI. But then I'm more concerned with functionality than how they look.

 

US spec evo 8 MR did not come with leather/suede seats, it came with the same blue fabric regular 8's had. Actually no evo has suede, it's called alcantara
