These JDM STI Recaro's are a different story:

1) i agree, the US STI seats are a disgrace to performance cars all over the world. i am just amazed that subaru refuses to listen and get with the times.
2) those JDM seats looks identical to the Recaro SRD's which i used to have in my old WRX and i can tell you that the stock EVO X seats are still better.

I agree with you, the USDM STI seats are a complete disgrace. They are made to accommodate the average US driver. I also feel that SOA isn't putting Recaro's in USDM Subaru's because of price, but I also think that people will pay for them.

I was very unhappy with my stock STI seats, which is why I decided to put a pair of EVO X seats in.

Anybody experiencing the fabric at the bottom of the seat lifting? Like i am pinching the fabric and lifting it so its loose. Is this something i should complain about but I'm considering saying something to the dealership since mine is 2010 with 15k miles on it. U think warranty will cover that?

I have a wear spot forming on the left bottom bolster because of my big wallet I carry in my back pants pocket. Whoops!

^This. Mine is loosening up also, that I am able to pinch it. Do you think I can bring it in for warranty? I only have 9k miles.
