Ok so I finally got my Defi Racer gauge and it's working and all that, but when I start up my car (guage does opening light dance) the pointer is at -18, not at 0. When I rev the engine the gauge will go up to about 0 and then goes back down to -18 and stays there. I attached everything according to this thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...lean-hell.html and I don't think the guage is working properly. Any ideas?

I watched some vids of the gauge after install and they show it with the needle being in this position so this may be normal behavior and I'm just being a total noob, which I'll gladly accept at this point LMAO!

 

it will not stay at 0 when the car is running. It will be showing you the vacuum which will be between -10 and -20.

It looks like it is working like it should.

a negative number is a reading in vacuum

if your gauge only read boost then yes, it'd sit at 0 while idling

sounds like your gauge is working just fine
