Nokian Hakkapaliittas are great too. I've had several friends that have run them and love them. I would personally recommend the Blizzak WS60 or the WS70. I have run them in 3 of my cars and they are well worth the money. I've driven past cars in the ditch all winter with little to no sliding on icy roads and drive easily through unplowed lots and roads.
A lot of people here also run studded Hankook iPikes, but they don't offer them to fit our stock wheels.
