thinking of switching evo to sti
The best description I have ever hear; You sit "in" the Evo seats and sit "on" the STI seats.
there was a moment where i wanted to trade my evo x....because I paid 52000$(canadien) and a subaru wrx sti 2006 was like 27000$ canadien. I was like its almost the same car. so I went to the subaru dealer....got in the car...there was rain outside...i was going at like 30mph turn right the car start slidding like an idiot.....then I WOT it....no feeling at all....its too much engine...evos are turbo power...so you get the airplane feeling.i drove the car back.and start modding my evo x,lol.
i guarantee you dont want a subaru. the only thing i will give to subaru sti is THE EXHAUST SOUND.
its a very very good car and very confortable......untill you try a evo x lol haha
find another way for your wife...dont sell the evo x

What came first the car or the wife? If you have a really short wife and you know she has this issue wouldn't you take this into account before shelling out over 30 large for a car that lacked a seat height adjustment? If it's your only car and it's the truth well do what you have to but if you have another car I would tell her to rough it.
As for the STI may as well wait until next gen in a couple of years as the 2011 STI is pretty long on the tooth being almost the same car as the one that debuted here in 2004. The next gen will be likely all-new and you are going to face the same situation as all STI owners who will want to get out of the disappointing 2008-2012 versions for the all-new cars.
