I agree with the pillow idea.... I just moved over from an STI to an EVO. The EVO is a better car (I have owned both).

Well said!

Did she have issues with the STI seats or you just didn't like the STI as much?

$15 for custom cushions?

what should i do ??
How about a custom cushion made just for the EVO seats? I've never tried this place, but for only $15, I'd give this a shot before blowing thousands on a car-swap.

And they've got Black...

Good decision! The STi is too soft of a car these days...

What turned you off about the STi?

Before i bought my evo i test drove a 2006 STi and i was not impressed by all means... i loved the interior as well as the sound of the engine but it's performance was lacking to me for some reason.

Fast forward to last night when my friend purchased a new STi a few weeks ago. The hatch has always caught my attention and i for one think it looks like an awesome car. I took it around for a spirited drive and man was i impressed. The car pulled strong and it was stock. Love the sound, interior as well as the performance. It was no where near what i remember with the 06 I drove before purchasing my evo. I was very impressed with this car... much more impressive than a stock 2010 Evo X i drove a few weeks prior.

The '11 STI gained a bunch of suspension enhancements that has transformed the model into a more serious contender now. Front solid pillow ball bushings, stiffer springs, thicker antiroll bars and lower ride height go a long way towards correcting the mushy lifeless car of yore.

just my opinion.

If you "REALLY" want to keep you evo, instead of selling it and adding a couple thousand $$ to get the sti, why dont you use a couple hundred and get custom rails built so the seat adjusts up/down

But like others have posted, adding a few washers or a pillow for her to sit on is very simple, very effective and costs nothing.

gl with watever you do
