thinking of switching evo to sti

i love my evo x but the only problem is the fact that the ride height is set, which isnt adjustable. the height is perfect for me but for my wife (cant even see with the current height). Making the rails higher will be good for her but not for me. the sti on the other hand has adjustable seats.

what should i do ??

I saw a thread where a guy put washers on his seat and raised it about an inch or 1.5'' i'd have to search for it.

Or, give your wife a pillow to sit on. Its much cheaper.

just get her a pillow, it's would be really stupid to swap cars just because of non - adjustable seats. Not only you're going to lose a lot of money, but it would be a downgrade imho if you prefer performance over functionality.

Think about this logically. LIke others have said your probably gonna lose money on this deal. A pillow would be a reasonable answer. A good friend of my family is a dwarf (little person lol) and she used to sit on a pillow and had phone books against her back, so she would be higher and could reach the pillows. This is a viable option as is the washer idea.

From a different angle if your looking for a fast car, but will still be more comfortable (and I know they've done a lot to make the X a lot more comfortable and "smooth" compared to the VIII and IX) for your wife and family look at the STi's. The 2011 sedan looks like an amazing choice. I haven't drive an 11, but supposedly its one of the best handling STi's.

too far.

Or OP, you can look into replacement seats. Or find someone with a lancer ES/GTS/RA and trade them seats because those are height adjustable.

You're really considering switching cars because of non height adjustable seats? Dude keep the evo!

Put in 08+ Lancer seats , bolt right in , still has air bags and all the same sensors but you can adjust the height
