thinking of switching evo to sti
I bought my wife a WW X SE she is about 5' 3" and sits way to low in that car. I put 1.5" SS steel spacers in the back and 1.00" SS spacers in the front with higher grade / longer bolts. Worked out really good... I am 6'1 and I enjoy the extra height.
Amen +1 on this. I lowered my last car for handling but the effect was my wife never tried driving it again as she didn't like the ride and was afraid to hit anything
Does the EVO not have adjustable seats like the Ralliart ?

Your Ralliart doesn't have Recaro seats does it?
First off, I must agree, unless you leased the car, or just flat out don't like it, trading it would cost you big money.
What I would do is this, I would call Recaro up, tell them what is going on, see if they can sell you a New Recaro seat that is adjustable. The Seat may cost you $1500 or more, but would be better than losing your *** on a trade.
So give Recaro a call and see what they can do for you. Then go from there. If you leased the car? then go trade for the STi, but I think after driving the Evo you may be a little dissapointed.

my wife only got to drive my car 2 times; once for a minute when I bought it(cause she put up the $500 non refundable to hold it) and the 2nd when I needed my drunk *** driven to the hospital.
Is it just me here or does it seem this Evo X buyer is having "Buyers Remorse"?
I mean its ok if you are, the Evo doesn't fit your needs. If thats the case, and it seems your are already sold on the STi, which is a great car no one here is argueiing with you on that fact.
What we are trying to help you with is Money. You will lose so much money on your trade, we are talking thousands here. Plus you will need a down on the new STi. So if that is ok for you, then by all means.
Remember you lose your *** the first 2 yrs you own a car. That is when "retail" value and "wholesale" value kinda meet up. Trading in the first year of ownership will cost you.
If you can afford it, and your wife will be happier then by all means. Good Luck to you Either Way.
