With the paint the way it is (thin) in my opinion you need mud flaps and a bunch of 3m otherwise your car will look like crap after one winter. Rocks, sand, and salt are a killer up here.

For my new MR:
Just ordered a set of blizzaks to be installed next week, ~900$. Getting mud flaps in mail for 30$. Scheduled appointment for paint protection film installation 699+tax. So total about ~1700$.

Good work.... you wont have to complain about thin paint if your doing that.....

That's an incentive to wash your car more often not a reason to garage a car for the winter!

Where can Rally Armor mud flaps be purchased in Canada/Ontario/London area? I need to get some and the only place I am aware of is the Rally Armor website...any other shops that carry them in Ontario?

The stealership wants $365 for a set!!!!

Im getting new tires (btw tirerack rocks!) and trying to get weathertech floor mats but their customer service... geez. Its easier to get a hold of a deaf and blind person... I dont want to just order the mats for "Lancer" and end up not fitting them in the evo. So im trying to phone order the damn mats.... Im at round 2 of getting a hold of em now. Round one: they wont, i waited 42 minutes on the phone and the line dropped when I was number 1 in que...
Round two: Been 16 minutes now and lets see if the line gets dropped again...

edit: finally won round 2, mats ordered... $197...

So my winter prep cost was a little under 1k, without mudflaps since I dont need em where I live.
