2010 Evo X SE Registry
OK so of course the default answer is get what I want, it doesn't matter what others think, but honestly I never trust my instincts for what is just going to look patently stupid vs. what is at least just neutral.
so I'm ordering some leather seat cover replacements for the car and was thinking it might be cool to put my SE number embroidered on the head rest or the top of the seat. Thoughts? Douche? I figured I could even be subtle about it and have it be in black stitching against the dark graphite leather. Although I'm also considering silver stitching to match what is on the shift knob which is also what I'm adding to the seats as a contrasting stitch.
And before anyone asks: www.leatherseats.com is where I'm getting them from.

I think it would look fine if you keep it subtle. I think the top of the seat, more around where your back shoulders rest might be the best place for #139.
I do wish they labeled each car somehow. I mean, the way it's been done for us seems a tad backwards. Basically my car is not #66... but I am customer #66 to buy an SE. Not the same IMO.
Are you having "Recaro" stitched into the head rest areas?

Sadly I have to get a letter from Recaro saying I'm allowed to use the logo. Not worth the effort, f|_|ck them. Right now I'm doing the number in the same silver thread as the shift boot which is also what I'm using for the main seats double stitching. I just placed the order today.

I've been lurking for a while but figured this would be a good thread to start in since I'm lacking any good pictures. I picked up my Octane Blue SE on 1/3/11...still awaiting my # / keychain but am glad to know I'm only 1 of 54. Only thing I've received from Mitsu so far are my Roadside Assistance cards with the free oil change voucher and a bill
OB #183
Those trying to figure out how long it will take Mitsu to get this out...my purchase date was 1/3/11 and the letter I received was dated 2/1/11, mailed from CA to PA, arrived certified mail on 2/8/11. If you are close to Cali, I'd say 4 weeks to get your key fob, for those farther east, 5 weeks is a better estimate.
