Overboosting problem

Well my check-engine light popped on and I took it to a local Autozone just to get the code read, and it came back saying I was overboosting. Is this caused because of a boost leak or the guy who read the code said it could be my boost solenoid? My question is how do I approach fixing this? Take it to my trusted mechanic or take it to the Mitsu dealership? Also, would this be covered by warranty (mods include, dp, tp, and cbe.) Thanks.

I think it's cold weather and ur tp..... I'm in NYC and it very cold here and with tp and cold temp will overboost... U got tuned? If not get tuned ..I heard from people with tp , its safer to get tuned.

Test-pipe + cold weather = over boost. Get your tune tweaked or get one if you don't have one.

your local mechanic nor your deal will be able to fix this...as there is nothing wrong with your car. its cold out. get a tune or if you have a tune..turn your boost down.
