okay so heres the problem.. for some reason my car was spiking pretty high like a month ago, about 22psi... and it started to give me overboost codes and all which made sense.. now my car is only boosting 10-11psi and i hit what feels like a fuel cut and i get the overboost code still.. can anyone shed some like on what is maybe going on with my car? idk if its the wastegate is outa wack or maybe it jut needs a tune.. any help would be great thanks guys. rudy

 

Have you checked boost leaks? I had almost the same issue and just bought a forge wastegate and got a reflash and no more issues for me.

 

22psi isnt overboost. I would start with checking boost leaks and flash. What r your mods?

 

Betting one of the settings in your ecu is not right.

 

eh i dont really have any big time mods.. i had a boost controller but i took it off because i thought thats why my car started to act up but apparently that wasnt the problem.. all i really have is a full exhaust with an intake. ACT clutch and flywheel. ive checked for leaks numerous times but just cant seem to find anything.. i have a forge blow off valve because teh greddy one that came with my car took a dump on me.. i think im prolly gonna give the wastegate a shot.. i live in jersey so does anyone know where i can get a quick cheap reflash? like know any people or anything. thanks btw.. i was hoping that my turbo isnt on its way out lol

 

well i went out to extreame psi yesterday and picked up the forge waste gate, installed it last night. i adjusted it to be shut as much as possible so its not that, but im still only boosting about 12lbs with no leaks.. id assume this is where the reflash would come into play? should i get my car just quick reflashed or have somebody accually tune it? i dont have many mods so im not sure if a full tune would be worth it. thanks.
