Question Overboost after ams intercooler and few mods

I searched but did not find anything similar to my problem. I instaled an AMS intercooler with upper pipe and hks suction pipe. it has a Greddy type s Bov recirculated but my car is over-boosting like crazy my gauge before the the mods was 20psi know i'm seeing over 28 and really low power what do you guys think it could be the stock b/c is set like stock so i've run out of options please help!

Maybe you need to get the car retuned for your current mods?

Is the car completely stock other than the mods you have listed? Do you have any exhaust and/or wastegate upgrades?

Well the intercooler and intercooler pipe would not cause over boost issues. What I am thinking is you said you have a GReddy Bov and upgrade intake manifold. You shouldnt experience over boost from a bov either. I am thinking about the intake manifold and that could be causing it. My suggestion would be to get a tune with these mods. You have increased the intake of the engine, and you are untuned with these mods.

Is it possible that you had a boost leak before and the boost controller had been turned up to compensate? i.e. turbo spinning fast enough to make 28psi, but only 20psi was making it to the boost gauge. So, now with a freshly done install, there are now no leaks, so the turbo's pumping out too much air?

I have a similar problem. But I have a boost leak I need to fix, so I'll let you know if I'm still having problems after that is done.
