I need to take it to the dealership tomorrow for an oil change... thankx for any help

Do you plan on gettin an AP? if so the reflash is based of the rom that mitsu will put on your car. Mine is also an 08 and i experienced the same. But then i got the AP and it all went away. Some dealers will charge you for the reflash even though is is supposed to be covered under TSB's. Check with your dealer. As far as if it has been done, they will ask for your VIN and can tell whatever has been done to it as far as TSB's and such. Good luck.

When I got my reflash (free, there is a TSB on it), the dealership put a sticker with the date and the flash info on the underside of my hood. It did help how it ran, especially from 5000 on up, but the Cobb off the shelf map on my AP is way better.

Are FQ-300's the same as the GSR models? I thought FQ's have 300 HP and the NA-Spec GSRS only have 291. Not sure there is a TSB for the FQ-300s.

Just tell the dealer the issues you're having and ask for an updated ECU flash.
