just picked up my 2010 evo X :]
Hello evom, old forum member, first evo owner here with a grin from ear to ear after driving my new used Evo X home. I paid $30,000 for it OTD including 10% nazifornia sales tax, and it came with SSS, navigation and 4500 miles. I'm pretty happy about the deal.
I post pictures but no one wants to see a stock evo X :[
Anyways I was wondering what are some mods I should do ASAP, not necessarily performance mods, but something that's free or really cheap and helps the car overall. Spoiler is coming off first thing tomorrow morning, on my friends Evo IX it netted him .2 in the 1/4
not to mention I like keeping it stealth. I was reading here about some kind of restrictor pill in the clutch line? Not sure but I was hoping someone could give me some more information.
Aside from that the car already handles like a dream suspension wise so I don't think I'll do much there, especially considering that it compromises ride comfort.
power wise I was thinking full catless TBE with the quietist catback out there, then an intake and intercooler pipes, anything else I should consider? Keeping in mind I'm really trying not to sacrifice drivability.
thanks in advance,
Matt

I definitely recommend removing the clutch restrictor. See https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ill-out-3.html.
If you're not inclined to do your own tuning, I would recommend the Cobb AP - although I've heard the factory tunes now are better than mine was in 2008.
Enjoy!
