stopped to get gas this morning
$3.79 In the Pittsburgh Area's used to be that some gas stations would vary in there pricing like if you went right up the street to the sunoco that's by my house they would be $3.50 something, then you would go down the road another 5 to 7 mins and find the Sunoco there had it for like $3.45, 5 cents cheaper. But now all the gas stations just say $3.79 for 93 tis Depressing indeed
gas prices suck now a days. i remember when i started driving gas was about 2.25 to 2.50 range. now seeing it 3.40 a gallon(Charleston AFB Price) kinda sucks. It takes me a good 30-40 every couple weeks to keep my lancer at full. Oh how i wish gas would go down
3.65 in Valdosta, Ga and thats on base. It changed 3 times last week alone. This is getting crazy. This may put a damper on getting my GS350 if that runs premium also. I need another R1 or maybe R6 if this crap keeps up.
I just got an email about how we can bring down gas prices. Its not that stupid idea of not buying gas on a certain day of the week, but something different. I'm not saying it will work, just throwing the idea out there for discussion.
Basically it is saying do not buy gas from any exxon/mobil stations. The reason being because they are making the most money and they might have to lower prices to entice buyers back. And if they lower prices everyone else will have to lower prices.
Agian, i'm not saying this will work, just the next idea floating around the internet. Apparently this one came from some ex-exec at coca-cola or haliburton or something. I don't have any exxon/mobil stations near me, so its not a problem for me to skip them.
Just seeing what you guys think of this idea.

Heh, I'm old, I remember when it was $1.35.
When i started driving, a lil over ten years ago, gas was under a $1. Goin to high school, my $2.50 daily lunch money would be enough for a quarter tank in my CRX and would be good for the week!! I miss those times LoL.
