A/C not working

So now that the weather is beautiful here in SoCal I turned my A/C on after work the other day only to realize that it was blowing hot air out. I have a 2010 GSR and figured it was because my car was sitting in the sun all day, but 45 minutes later I tried again and still just hot air. When I got home my fan kept running for about 5 minutes after I turned my car off. It clicked in today that back in February I was in Mammoth snowboarding and when I was pulling into the hotel parking lot it was all ice and I slid into a snow/ice bank (5 mph). It cracked my underpanel, popped the right corner of the bumper off (it popped right back in), cracked the OEM black lip at the base of the bumper and bent the mesh grille a bit. Really not to bad and the impact wasn't very hard. I am guessing that this is the reason why my A/C isn't working, but do you guys think that impact was hard enough to break something (A/C tubing, condenser, etc.)? Any feedback would be great. I just want to know what it could possibly be and what I am looking at for repair costs.

my A/C never worked straight from Mitsu, brand new Evo IX MR 1.3 miles on the ODO. I have checked EVERYTHING 100 times and can't solve it. It was never crashed before though. If you have a warranty, make those bastards pay because I couldn't...had too many mods between December '06 and June '07 to take it back. something to consider.

Not sure about the fuse. How can you tell if a fuse is bad or not? Not to good when it gets into the electrical stuff.

The fuses are transparent. You will easily spot one if its blown, the wavy wire will be broken and it won't look like the others. Fuse box is in the engine compartment, drivers side, next to the jump-start terminals and intake. There should be a couple of spare ones in the box together will a small tool to pull them.

Check the A/C light in the middle of the A/C button while it's on. If it starts to blink on and off there could be an A/C ECU malfunction. Mitsu replaced mine under warranty but it happened again.

The light stays solid, but hot air just keeps blowing. I am thinking it is mechanical. Ill pull the car apart this weekend and try and diagnose something. Ill keep you guys updated if I find anything in case any one else has this problem. If i can't find anything the car is going to the shop because I don't have the means to do a Freon test or condensor test or any of that testing that is done to see where/what is leaking.

07outty, haha thanks anyways. it was a nice idea.

Kracka, have an appointment on the 26th with the dealership, but I always try to avoid dealerships by all means. Hopefully warranty will cover it. I would like to try and find the issue myself in case warranty doesn't cover it and I have to pay out of pocket. We all know dealerships will charge for anything they can.

fingers crossed it works out and won't cost me an arm

If you're under warranty, then you have nothing to worry about. If for some strange reason the dealer says it needs to charge you, you can just tell them no thanks and drive the car off. They should be able to fix this for you--I would try NOT to mention the minor accident if it's not obvious on your car.

^^^Yea i have Eibach springs, JDP Rally Type lip, SSP Underpanel, ETS Intake, Rexpeed VG, Torque Short shifter w/ Blox knob so I should be good with warranty for my A/C. I am replacing the mesh grille this weekend and that is the last of the noticeable damage from the minor accident. I fixed everything else. Thanks for the advice. That is what I was planning.
