Hello people, yup, this is the NOOB.
I did some research, and found that Evo X has some painting problems and alignment problems, and some fuse??? anyways, I can't find all the common problems (too much to read), so I was wondering if you guys would kindly list some common problems about Evo X.
I don't have Evo yet, but planning to buy one in May.
It'd be nice if you would also tell me what to watch out, etc. (There was a post regarding what to watch out for used one, but I don't think there was a post about new one.... sorry if I missed).
Any help would be appreciated. Thank community!!

 

big one is replace the fuel relay with the new and improved one or the one from ams i had some big issues with that

ya, i checked that, they mainly talked about paint issues. maybe there were more, but that's way too many posts to read.

paint is pretty much the same on all newer cars under about 50k, epa restrictions don't allow the use of lead in auto paint anymore, so all cheaper cars get crappy paint. for more expensive cars, manufacturer's put in the money for good quality paint.

problems are:
fuel relay (2011 included)
stock clutch sucks
plastic master cylinder sucks
diff pins for pre 2011 cars
steering wheel to far away for most people, it'd prolly be fine for people with short legs


other than that, its pretty solid
