bad aem uego wideband sensor?
Hi!
let me explain.
2 or 3 weeks ago, my aem uego gauge started to indicate ( --- ) in the lean section...but the car was running perfectly fine...no stalling or no other sign of lean car. The gauge would not respond to the throttle. It was just stuck on the - - -.
For a week now.....the gauge indicates digits from - - - to 14 and it still doesn't respond to the throttle and there are still no signs of too lean car. The car runs like normal. When I drive for more than 10 minutes....the gauge indicates 14.8 and stays stuck there.
What can my problem be?!?!?! When I first had the ( --- ) people told me it was a bad sensor...so I ordered one...and I haven't recieved it yet....but now that the gauge indicates other digits....and stays stuck on 14.8 after driving for a while...I don't know what could the problem be.
I repeat...the gauge doesn't respond to the throttle...when I press on the gas...the digits don't change at all...they change randomly sometimes.

Just call AEM. They have a tech support line. I had an issue with my boost guage and they had me measure the voltage over a couple of the wires, told me it was bad, had me send it in. I received a package from them 2 days later with a brand new sensor and wiring. Been worked great ever since.
