I bought a used X in Feb 11 with 22K on it. Had some nice volks,fmic,coilovers,navi, and a few other small parts. Within the 1st month I had to get new rotors and pads, tires, and replace a bunch of small crap. Now I have to figure out where this damn rattle is coming from. I love the car but I wish I would of been more thorough. I probably would of looked at other used EVO X's or maybe I should of bought a new one.

good thread, Im looking for used Evo X's as well... GSR or MR...just a good deal, under 20k miles would be great... bought my Evo 8 new back in May 2002 lol

I bought a used 2008 MR and the tranny went out 30 miles after i left the dealership...its a long story but to make it short i took it back the next day and they gave me a new 2010 GSR with navi SSS and areo package for under invoice so it worked in my favor!!

Not a X but I bought my IX used with about 50k on the odo. Within 2 weeks I had to replace the clutch plugs and get a tune. (Sucks paying 22k for a car and having to spend 2k 2 weeks later). After this I spent 2k on wheels. THIs is my personal pref obviously, but other than that so far nothing major. Overall if I had it to do over I would buy new. Or completely stock. Live and learn I guess.

I bought a used evo x 2010 with only 12k on it for 24,000...clean title but looks like it has been painted...could have been tracked a couple of times by the previous owner and possible side swipe but everything has been running smooth so far but i have only had the car for 2 months...just look at a used evo 10 times inside and out before you buy it...

Bought mine with 9500 miles on it im now at 29k. My stock clutch went in 2days of ownership of the car been in a battle with the dealership about giving me my money back from my extended warranty. Shifter cable clip went about 2 months ago. Wish i would have just bought a brand new 2010 with all the options and color i truely wanted.

Last week I picked up an 08 PB GSR with 7,900 miles. So far, the only issues were with the stereo. The previous owner must have removed it and did not put it back in correctly.
