Messed up and cut hose with boost pill.. Didn't know what a boost pill was, so I replaced hose without boost pill.. Noticed car would not go over 10lbs of boost.. So I tried to put pill in a new hose, and now I'm over boosting.. What do I do now? Tried Turing hose around still over boosting .

 

If the hose you used as the same inner diameter it doesn't make sense that putting the same pill back inside it would cause overboosting now. When you had no boost pill in there you saw the effect of that right away as more signal was reaching the wastegate resulting in less boost. You could likely drill out the pill slightly to increase the signal again and lower boost but if you can get the car tuned, all of that can be adjusted from inside the ECU via ECUFlash.

 

drill out the boost pill its the best bet, just make sure its the right hose your putting the pill in
