That's what mitsu claimed. I don't think it's really that noticeable.

mines for sale, it's brand new, pulled it off before I started driving the car.... I want to sell it, but why would you want it...? My understanding, which may be completely wrong lol, is that they did the mod that some people were doing on there own on the internal part of the muffler. Basically you weld open the muffler and take out part of the internals. If you want the sound of the 2011 it would be cheaper for you to do that... unless you live in cali and are concerned about legal issues. There's a company that was selling the modified mufflers, painting them black, but they wanted tons of money for something you could have done. Link below on the exhaust mod. Quote from the guy doing the mod, "You can definitely tell the muffler is free flowing after the mod. Has a nice growl, but hardly louder than stock".. I would agree, hardly louder, but at idle it has a little growl to it's tone.

No videos for me, but the sound of the 2011 exhaust sounds a little deeper than the exhaust of the 08s and 10s (subjective, I know). As the videos above show, you still hear more engine than exhaust when the car is stock. The deepness is able to make a few alarms chirp in my apartment complex though, but it's nothing crazy or something that will attract 5-0.
